I think the things we dont teach, so well writing, listening, and comprehending are really the key.....if I may be cliche ...the heart and soul of communication. Teaching these things are essential in creating students who embrace literacy, not so much as a subject to learn in school but as an integregal aspect of expierince our lives to the fullest
